Tunisian celebrities in campaign to scrap anti-gay law

As part of the campaign, a number of Tunisian celebrities posed in front of the camera carrying signs with the LGBT banner which read “Article 230, until when?”.

Same-sex acts in Tunisia can carry a prison sentence of up to three years.

Last week, a Tunisian appeals court ordered the release of a group of students who had been sentenced to three years in prison for violating the country’s anti-sodomy law.
